How to make the appliques:
- Stitch the placement stitch.
- Place the fabric covering the complete outline.
- Stitch the tack-down stitch.
- Trim away the fabric access close to the seam, leaving about 1-2 mm seam allowance (!)
- Stitch out the rest of the design, following the colour chart to identify colour changes.
