The DT-04 NXGEN is the consistent development of the TAMIYA Fighter Buggy models and the entry-level buggy for young racers. Since 1996, TAMIYA has been setting the benchmark for entry and the RC car scene with the Fighter Buggies. The DT-04 relies on the proven basis of the DT-03 and has been revised in many places. NXGEN stands for "Next-Generation", i.e. the latest generation of Fighter 2WD Buggies. This model is both technically and visually: the look is based on the popular single-seat American racing buggies with 2WD rear-wheel drive. TAMIYA implements this with already white coloured plastic parts, which makes painting unnecessary. From the kit, the model can be built in 2 colour variants and the driver figure with helmet makes the fighter a real eye-catcher. Technically, the NXGEN offers a new 3-piece steering, oil pressure shock absorbers, new axle carriers, hexagonal wheel mounts front and rear, new steering levers and much more! The model can be built in 2 different wheelbases (265 mm or 280 mm). This is done simply by turning the front lower wishbone and converting the steering. A short wheelbase makes the model more agile on the race track and the long wheelbase allows for a quieter ride.
